Last shop building standing from the Uintah Railway, at Atchee, Colorado. Narrow gauge Uintah was abandoned in 1939.

I just saw the 66-degree curve of the Uintah shown in the opening credits of: " Waterhole #3", staring James Coburn.

I am quite surprised and pleased that one structure from this railroad actually still exists. Amazing!

There is an excellent book on the Uintah Railway by Henry Bender, who is a member of the NRHS, and quite the historian.
