Hi - Didn’t see this posted here yet. If you have some time around the teevee check out American Pickers episode S18:E3 “Real Knuckleheads.”

The first half features a gent who collects trucks, bikes, reefers and cabooses. What cuaght my eye were two (at least two) streetcar bodies. They look to be open or convertible single-truck cars but I could be wrong. The location is central CA. - Rob

One looks like a birney body?

Is this the collection of trolleys listed on "Discover Live Steam" site? The "full-size railroad items for sale" section?

Interesting. I wasn't aware of this collection but tracked down and watched the segment. It looked to me like there were two cars, both double-truck Birneys. At least one had single-stream rear doors. They weren't open cars to start with but they sure are now... both of them area really shot! Anyway, given the design and an offhand reference to Roseville, I'd bet they're ex-Sacramento city cars, probably similar to this:

There are two other bodies from the series pictured above in much better shape preserved elsewhere, one at Rio Vista and one owned by an advocacy group and stored in Sacramento.

Did anyone notice what year this episode was made? We get it in Australia, but I still think we haven't advanced past about 2014.

Trucks should be Brill 177s with two GE 247 motors (40 horse). If they are still there, WRM might be interested.

Thanks for the link, Ron. I noticed it seems to be a product of the History Channel.
We get it here on pay TV and it usually channels its way down to free to air several years later.
About 2 years ago, I emailed them with a pic of a Pullman gas lamp and asked if they could keep an eye out for one, but I got no reply.
Still, you never know....
Cheers, Bob
