I believe that the 1927 Brill, shown in a 2000 photo earlier in this thread, may have been scrapped. I'm hoping for confirmation (or refutation) of that but for the time being I've removed it from the updated "beta test" Preserved Cars roster linked from here.

Thanks, Frank. Please let us know if you hear of anything.

Going back to the fire aspect - does your Museum liase with the local Fire Department as regards what you have and how it is stored/displayed?
The Museum I am involved with have had "official" visits by the local Fire Crews, partly to have a look round the place as visitors (we have a selection of vintage fire appliances) but also to get an idea of the layout of the premises should any emergency occur (we are in a 1937 built former trolleybus/bus depot). The local Fire Prevention Officer has also been and dispensed (free) advice in the past, and in the last 18 months, the Museum has been used for a full scale emergency exercise involving the Fire Service, with Museum volunteers participating as "casualties" located in various - awkward to get to - parts of the building.
Might be something worth considering at other museums.
