This subject may have been discussed before, but how many surviving SDP35's, 40's and 45's are still around?

Three Seaboard SDP35's are around at last check

1104 at Squaw Creek slightly modified
1111 at Southwest Portland Cement at last report - can anyone confirm it's still there?
1114 saved and restored at the museum in Hamlet

All other SDP35's gone (?)

Great Norther SDP40's

324 later BN 6326 was reported still stored on BNSF - can anyone confirm this?
325 donated to Minnesota Transportation museum

Any Mexican SDP40 survivors?

SDP45's

All SP units gone
Any GN units left?

Surviving Erie Lackawanna units are down to maybe a half dozen
One saved at VMT, but status in question (?)

Amtrak SDP40F's

644 saved
One EMD test bed - status?
Any others?

Here's an accounting of EL SDs:

https://scotlawrence.github.io/EL/index.html but just a few can be counted as preserved

Off the top of my head-
SCL SD45 preserved down south- currently on CSX and may be doing a gig on the Clinchfield Santa Train
WC SD45 at IRM
NP SD45 at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum
GN 400 at the MN Railway Museum
NW SD45 at the VA Museum of Transportation
SP SD45 at the Utah RR Museum

Some photographic evidence of No. 325, as of September 2016:

If I'm not mistaken, there are at least 2 SDP40F's at the Pueblo,CO Test Center. Personnel there seem to be aware of their significance so there should be a decent chance of them being donated to RR museums who ask for them.

An unknown SDP35 appeared on BNSF at Fort Madison, IA in the Nov. 1 Virtual Railfan grab bag. About 23:10 in. No visible markings and no number boards, red with black frame, some oddball marker lights in the nose. The only clue is it looks like it was rebuilt to an H15 which makes it potentially one of three former SBD units other than Respondek 11.

I do not believe any of the SDP28 or SDP38 units built for Korean National Railroad have survived.

The GN car body being used as a cabin at the Issac Walton Inn in Montana. Looks to be in very good shape from the photos. I know, it really doesn't count since it's gutted, but if the place ever changes hands and they don't want it anymore...

It is a former ATSF F45, not GN.

The hotel has a partnership deal with it as well, they do not own it completely. Worth staying in though, super cool..
