I just got word that most of the old records that IPS Cranes was holding were destroyed in a basement flood. So that will leave big hole when trying to find documentation for any locomotive cranes out there. I'm still looking for anything having to do with maintenance of a 1952 Z250T IBH diesel wrecker. If anyone runs across anything let me know. |

Sad news indeed! It looks like what information I have collected has become important. The Bay County museum in Bay City, MI got a lot of stuff but it has never been cataloged. I ran into an owner's manual for a 250 tonner on Worth Point last week. Someone must have sold it recently. |

I was afraid of that , that's why I offered to conserve for future posterity everything that IPS didn't want since IRM is already set up for disseminating information of this type . IPS's stash should have included Ohio Crane, Wellman ,American Hoist And Derick ,Industrial Brownhoist . Que sera sera ! |
