In spite of it being 13F when I arrived, Complete Construction was on the job and placing arches atop the containers. The cross bracing was being bolted into place by 2:10PM. Temperatures has soared to 18F! The arches were going to be tied down with cables before the men left for the Christmas holiday. The construction crew will be back on Tuesday and will work through placing the rest of the arches and getting them tied down. The company owner would like to be finished by next Friday.

Two private donors have provided money to have the mechanical doors placed in the end framework. These have been ordered, and crossbeam dimensions have been taken.

Once the tarp covers us, we will need to get a track gang together to build several sections of panel track and pull 470 indoors.

Saw where Maine could potentially be getting 5" of ice accumulation this weekend, I hope you guys can avoid that. Never in my life have I seen 5" of ice from a storm, in Illinois, Colorado or Oregon.

We are concerned as well, but this is winter in Maine. It's what we do. I very much appreciate your concern.

PMC, The forecast is for 1/4-3/8 inch of ice accumulation from freezing rain.
You'd never get in your car til spring if it was 5 inches! Least not without a pick axe......

Yes, I was scratching my head, but what do I know, Maine is famous for bad winter. But I went back and looked, I missed a decimal, so half an inch or so (which would have been easier to say in the first place). 5" would wreck every tree in the state, and you have a lot of them.
