Age Of Steam roundhouse page has a new album of "detail" photos that I thought were great. Many are attributed to Kelly Lynch. These are some great shots! Thank you, Mr. Lynch

Very nice photos, curious what happened to the roundhouse reports, they seem to have ended a year ago with no updates since?

While the detail photos are artistic and quite pleasing it would be nice to see more substantial reports, something like the updates Strasburg posts here. I love those and AoS certainly has the capacity to do the same.

With the passing of our founder, builder, leader and friend, Jerry Jacobson, the Age of Steam Roundhouse has been swamped with a mountain of legal, tax and financial work that is required to change his operation from a privately funded collection into a private foundation that supports a public museum operation. We have been preparing for this eventuality for several years, and now the legal wheels are turning to complete this transition. On top of our full-time, regular AoSRH jobs, everyone involved in this huge transition is working overtime to complete all this work to comply with all laws and requirements. However, providing detailed updates to the AoSRH website is not at the top of our list of priorities at this time. Sorry--you'll just have to be patient.

Have a safe day.

I thought it would be something like that.

That's life, and let's be glad that Mr. Jacobsen did do what he did, including establishing a foundation to continue the work he started.

As Mr. Corns suggested, the updates may well restart in the future, but for now he and everybody else has their hands full.
