I've been following your videos on the resurrection and it's came along nicely.

Are you going to route the exhaust up or leave it underneath? It looks like the flathead had duals up the front of the cab. I have an old Massey Ferguson with a Continental that came with the exhaust under the running board. My grandpa put a kit on it that ran the exhaust up beside the hood. Stacks on each side of the hood would look nice.

I will eventually get around to routing the exhaust upward like it was originally. I have the parts to do it but with the impending return of 58's boiler I had to redirect work back to the steam locomotive for now.

Fortunately regauging the wheelsets was rather straightforward. I pressed the wheels and sprockets off the axles, had the wheel seats and keyways extended inward 6" on each side, then pressed the wheels and sprockets back on. To make space for the wheels the sprockets connecting the axles are now outboard of the wheels on the right side.

The front running boards of the locomotive make rather handy workbenches and I have mounted a vise on the right front corner. It has proven to be a very useful addition!
