She looks to be a really good find. Nice size and distribution of weight. If she became available, I would think a shortline would snap her up.

folks,
i have not seen any California locomotive listed so here is one. I have nothing to do with it; or its owners.

State Belt Railroad #4 is on a couple of flat cars in the old Bay Shore Roundhouse in San Francisco, CA. She is an H.K Porter or Vulcan Iron Works product I believe.

I can report on a success story. The Western Pacific #165 was badly displayed at the Alameda Fairgrounds; but she went to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum at Portola; where she is being restored to steam. Slow but sure as they say!

I listed the SP steamer that is in Santa Cruz.

The locomotives in Oroville, California both appear to have been forgotten.
I am not sure who is in charge of taking care of them, but the WP logo on the 0-6-0 needs to be replaced.
I took these photos in August of 2018.
