my apologizes for a double post ( and on my first one here LOL). a Friend had just sent it to me after he knows I had donated to the 503.

One big negative here is that you can't just bid on the steam locomotive but must bid on all the huge pieces of old logging steam equipment AND move it all off site with not much time to spare. My guess is that the only bids they'll get ( if any ) will be low balls from scrappers??

What "big pieces" of logging equipment are you talking about? While the 12x17 duplex flyer probably weighs as much as the Heisler the other donkey weighs about 2 tons. Take the boiler off of the duplex and you have three loads.
