An opportunity has arisen for Cheyenne based non profit High Plains Railroad Preservation to save a historic CB&Q section house, not only has it been offered to us free if we move it, but if we bought the. land it stands on we will have a superb museum base in town opposite Big Boy 4004 in Holliday park.
Yes it's immensely ambitious but how often will an opportunity like this present itself ?
We are therefore trying to raise $130,000 to purchase this site outright.
