Frank Hicks reports

"A friend who paid a recent visit to the Ohio Railway Museum mentioned that Pittsburgh PCC 1772 is no longer there. It appears that back in 2015 it left the museum, supposedly for use as an ice cream stand or similar. I'm a bit more than a day late on this one! Anyone know where it has ended up?"

I have fond memories of the ORM from growing up there. While I miss the way it was, Im glad they are moving forward. Just monday they announced the return of Marble Cliff Quarries 0-4-0t which is a move that I think could help revitalize the museum depending on how its used. They are also currently fundraising for the columbus streetcar 701. And despite working less than a mile away I can only ever seem to stop by when they are closed (not their fault I work weird hours). I seem to remember when I was young 1772 was running so I don't know why it would be trucked out to use as a ice cream stand but I could be mistaken on that account.
