These videos are a interesting way to convey rail safety. Swiss I guess in origin, they are hosted on youtube so they would be easy to embed or share wherever you want to. I doubt they would care where they are used as long as they are helping people be safer!

That's exactly what is needed.

Thanks. Really interesting. Just shows that familiarity is not a magic solution to safety around trains. We have frequent disruptions on the suburban railway due to deaths, and I do not think all of them are suicide. I occasionally see things like young people jumping down into the tracks to get soccer balls, or "cool" young people sitting on the ground close to the platform edge.

That link was really slow. Here is a direct link to the YouTube catalog

Interesting indeed, even if the humor is a little strange!

And one of the most interesting bits is that these safety videos could almost be from the silent film era; they essentially have no dialogue.

Of course, a certain regular poster here from Fort Wayne did the same thing wonderfully in a speculative soft drink ad!!

It's French. Completely normal.

p.s. no dialogue because it needs to be tri-lingual, French, German, Italian.

Well, Swiss. :-) But similar and they certainly do deal with all three languages on their system.

I have it on good authority that the other half of the stick horse is French :-)

It’s French. Switzerland is three different cultures, that sometimes are a little tense.

I don't know if this is a newer video, or if I just missed it, but there's one more from the Swiss safety series.

Yes, and a the end of that one, the guy "rides off" down the middle of the track.
