Tom Marshall, the founder of Wilmington & Western Railroad has passed this morning. He was a lifelong steam enthusiast who not only got the W&W started but purchased much of its equipment including CNR 2-6-0 No. 92 and MSC 4-4-0 No. 98. His family estate and collection of Stanley Steam cars is the core of the Auburn Heights State Park which was all donated to the state of Delaware. More can be found here.

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.
