Post subject: | CMRR Work Report - July 3 to 9 |
Wednesday July 3rd Sam Cogan weed wacked the ROW east of Hurley Mountain Road. Friday July 5th Earl Pardini, Tom Comito, Sam Cogan, Vince Guido and John Marino spiked ties to MP 8 and moved track equipment to Kingston. Saturday July 6th On the Catskill Mountain Flyer, Earl Pardini was Engineer, Tony Bocchino was conductor, Art Vogel was brakeman, Dylan Iurato and Paul Payton were flaggers. Peter Fluchere and Marcia Roosa and Pat Smalley were ticket agents. Alex Sorenson helped. Monday July 8th Earl Pardini, San Cogan, and Dylan Iurato moved the crane, gondola and ballast hopper to the O&W siding and put the crane tender into the worktrain. Friday July 12th Earl Pardini, Dave Heick, Sam Cogan, Russell Hallock Marino inserted 20 ties from MP 7 to 7.5. Saturday July 13th On the Catskill Mountain Flyer, Dave Hilliard was Engineer, Karl Wick was conductor, Bill Kaba was brakeman, Dylan Iurato and Russ Hallock were flaggers. Friday July 26th Earl Pardini, Dave Heick, Tom Comito, Dylan Iurato and John Marino rearranged equipment and made equipment repairs. Saturday July 27th Viscose No. 6 visited the CMRR. Earl Pardini was Engineer, Art Vogel was fireman, John Marino engineer for No. 42, Tony Bocchino conductor, Bill Kaba was brakeman, and Dylan Iurato, Russ Hallock, Tom Comito and Ken Harris were flaggers. Marcia Roosa and Linda Marino were ticket agents. Karin Vogel was car attendant. Sunday July 28th Viscose No. 6 ran again. Earl Pardini was Engineer, Art Vogel was fireman, Tom Whyte was engineer for No. 42, Tony Bocchino conductor, Karl Wick was brakeman, and Dylan Iurato, Sam Cogan, Joe Wolff and Ken Harris were flaggers. Wednesday August 14th Track crew was Earl Pardini, Vince Guido, Sam Cogan, John Marino, Dave Heick, Dave Hilliard, Russell Hallock and Dylan Iurato. Crews spiked ties from MP 7.4 to 7.8 and replaced a rail at MP 7.1 and inserted about 200 ties. Thursday August 15th Track crew was Earl Pardini, John Marino, Sam Cogan and Dave Heick. They inserted and spiked 35 ties and laid out replacement rail at MP 7.85. Friday August 16th Earl Pardini, Vince Guido and John Marino did tree trimming and replaced a joint bar. Saturday August 17th The Catskill Mountain music train in Kingston. Dave Earl Pardini was Engineer, Karl Wick was conductor, Art Vogel was brakeman, and Ken Harris and Dylan Iurato were flaggers. Marcia Roosa and Karin Vogel were ticket agents. Martin Elbrecht worked on the generator for the 2949. Sunday August 18th The Catskill Mountain music train in Kingston.
