Maine Central 470's tender lost a journal box cover while displayed in the park. I realize, everyone needs a journal box cover as a souvenir, but we need one to replace the one lost!
Does anyone have a 6" X 11" journal cover (the others are marked "Symington", but that isn't a requirement. If you have one to donate or sell, please contact me via PM or at newenglandsteamcorp@gmail.com. 470 will thank you, and we'll cover the cost and shipping expense.

Why not just take one of the others to a foundry and have a replacement cast to replace the one that is lost. That way it would match the others and also the foundry can make a pattern in case in the future you need more.

Interesting suggestion, but we are in hope there may be one laying around unused in some museum's junk pile. Still looking.
