Hi all, A&WP 290 has the above reference lubricator for steam valve and cylinder lubrication. I am looking for manuals on the lubricator. Due to good intentions and not following up, I believe some parts are missing on the oil seals of the ratcheting shaft. I have digital Nathan manuals, but they are unlike the EDNA, as far as I can figure. Any help with copies or digital scans would be appreciated. Thanks, Dale |

Thanks, Dale I know you are looking for a detailed manual, hopefully someone will step forward with one. I love dong internet searches for this sort of stuff, but the best I could find is this listing of an Edna publication from 1945, available at certain libraries: https://www.worldcat.org/title/quality- ... /300300074 I did find out that Edna Brass Mfg. Co. is a Superfund site in Cincinnati now occupied by a casino. I also found that the Carson & Colorado did a total rebuild on their Edna lubricator on #18 twenty years ago: https://carsoncolorado.com/history-of-1 ... ssessment/ "Hydrostatic Lubricator (for piston and compressor lubrication): Edna #9 three-feed. The lubricator was completely gone through in 1999 and had some sight glasses and all gaskets replaced. While untested, it should be in ready-to-use condition and not need additional work." Not much to go on, hopefully someone will step forward with more practical information. |

Railway Locomotive Maintenance By F. E. Kardes Published by American Technical Society Part 4 has information on Edna mechanical lubricator Model A 624 which may have what you need . TRAIN might have reprinted it back in the 1980s. Hope this helps Dennis Daugherty |

Did you get the information I sent to your personal e-mail on June 8th? If my e-mails are not reaching outside my out box, I need to find out why. |
