The W&W is looking to hire two individuals. See the info below. I posted it here so it will get more views because a lot of folks do not visit the classifieds.

1. Executive Director of Historic Red Clay Valley, Inc. d.b.a. Wilmington & Western Railroad

Immediate opening for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director, reporting to the Board of Directors, is responsible for providing overall leadership, strategic planning consistent with the Board's objectives/goals and operational and financial management of the Wilmington & Western Railroad. The individual we are seeking must possess a minimum of 3-5 years nonprofit management experience, strong leadership skills, demonstrated management and fundraising talents, proven staff and volunteer management and exceptional communication abilities.

The Executive Director's position is focused on organizational development and management, operation of the heritage railroad, advocacy, community relations, partnership building and resource development.

2. Train Operations Manager/Volunteer Coordinator for Wilmington & Western Railroad

Immediate opening for the position of Train Operations Manager/Volunteer Coordinator. We are looking for an individual with a railroading background to manage and staff railroad operations. Must be able to multi-task, switch directions easily and adapt to change. You must also operate with a high level of integrity and maintain confidentiality of the company's business. You will be the first point of contact for new volunteers. A pleasing, engaging personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.

For a detailed job description for either position, please send inquiry to carole@wwrr.com - indicating which position is of interest in the subject line of the email.

Thank you.
