Three more cars on the market, two of which are also ex-CNR, apparently via Ohio Central and now AOS:

I wonder if the 0-4-0 has its tender around there somewhere still?

Did it ever have a tender? It was built as a tank locomotive.

You could ask if it has its cab, tank, smokebox etc. Someone would need to be pretty motivated to take on even a cosmetic restoration if those bits are missing.

It is an 0-4-0T. T=Tank.

All the major and essential pieces are still at MCRM. (There are photos of these on Ozark's website).

"Locomotive was partially disassembled to begin repairs and has been stored in pieces over last several decades, a new smoke box was rolled and is currently sitting on the pilot of the locomotive . It was last run circa 1970, will need a complete rebuilding."

Here is how it looked in 1970, when it was still in service. Philip A. Weibler photo.

Ah my mistake, I didn’t notice the T on the end. I could still see this being a fun project for someone with the funds anyhow.

Looks like a project started and then abandoned due to reality. I see some braces have been removed, and some throat stays - so serious boiler work required, much less trying to determine all the rest that has been forgotten in the meantime. Still, if I were to win the lottery I might take it on as a driveway project. Sammy and I could doublehead when we're about 120 years old.
