The Whitewater Valley Railroad in Connersville, Indiana is in the process of restoring its second LIMA-HAMILTON diesel into service. Work is ongoing on ARMCO STEEL CORPORATION #709, a 1000 HP Switcher. It was one of two donated by ARMCO in 1987. The second being 1200 HP model ex-ARMCO E-123 (B&O #320). These two units joined the WVRR's first locomotive Ex Cincinnati Union Terminal #25, a 750 HP model. Which is still operating today.

Please clarify the Lima Switcher model number usage of "model E-123".

It's long been my understanding Lima Switchers did not have any model numbers, and any such numbers labeling Lima Switchers are/were coined by rail fans, modelers, etc.

I think Lumpy meant...

The second being a 1200 HP model ex-ARMCO Steel E-123, exx-B&O 9376, nee-B&O 320.
