OK boys and girls.........I'm seeing things?

Today on I-64 near Shelbyville, KY (between Louisville and Lexington for you out-of-state folks) I was driving and saw a boxcar on a truck headed east.

It appeared to be an outside braced wood car, but I may be wrong. I'm thinking 50', and in my rear view mirror I think I saw end doors.

Little or no paint.

What, where, who??

I wonder if this is one of ITM's?

Is it one of these from ITM, these are shown as sold on Ozark. According to reports on AOTT facebook NKP war emergency SS boxcar 8099 has definitely been moved out of there:

Yep, it looked like one of these with "less paint". It was not red. I saw it in a location that would be on the feasible route between IRM and Knoxville.

Not one, but two Wooden Boxcars spotted being moved on Low Boy Long Trailer Trucks Today in Spencer North Carolina, and yes they were two of the cars from ITM, both also had the yellow "AOS" still spray painted on them...

I was sitting at a booth in the front window of a popular BBQ joint just north of the entrance to North Carolina State Transportation Museum in Spencer NC at around 1pm or so (Sept 5th), while I sat there talking with work associates, the two trucks each with an out side braced boxcar went by out side. Odd thing was they were heading north which means they would have already passed the museum and all we could figure was they missed the "turn" into the place and were making the rounds to work their way back. We could not imagine any other place these boxcars could be going being off the highway nearby and with NCTM being right there... Did not have time to leave co-workers to track down were the "loads" went as work took priority, but I'd strongly lean to at lest these two of the ITM boxcars ending up at NCTM...

That's great, given the cost to move anything I was unsure there would be sufficient interest to get them out of there, items you think would have been in demand have been passed over (see the ITM thread for some examples).
