I just got off the phone with one of the volunteers. We will be there in March on a cruise, and I am planning to visit the museum. He said they would break out "Rusty" their diesel switcher.
I am hoping I get a chance to drive it on the 800 feet of track they have.
Hopefully, by that time we will have our Santa Clara Vallry RR 23 ton GE switcher running.
That visit will round out my riding railroads in Hawaii. I rode the Sugar Train on Maui, the Hawaiian Railway museum Ice Cream train on Oahu, and the Kilohana Plantation train on Kauai.
