Does anyone know what the status is of the rebuilt ex-GM&O F3’s is? Doesn’t or didn’t Iowa Pacific have a few of them out west somewhere?

The two FP10 units are listed for sale. Said to be stuck in transit.

The fate of the E8 units is sad. I remember them well from when I was a kid living next to the NYSW. They made a trip or two paired with NYSW E8's.

I am supprised the IC E unit and IC painted coaches/obs that are sitting in Kokomo are not listed in the auction. I believe they were Iowa Pacific items that were leased by ITM for their Polar Express and other holiday trains they ran the last couple years between Kokomo and Logansport. Just sitting on a siding near the Menards store in Kokomo. Mike

The two FP10’s are listed with B&O heritage. I think the ex-GM&O F3’s are considered F10’s after rebuild by ICG.

The info is incorrect.

The Two F9PH locomotives are Ex Marc, Nee B&O F units.

The GM&O F3's became FP10's for the MBTA in Boston Mass.

Reports are the museum group that was leasing the train set has interest in the E unit and tail car. But they cannot even pay outstanding bills from the rushed bail out from Noblesville. Just hope the E and the cars find a new home before they get to much more tagged and beat up sitting in that not so good area of Kokomo.

As an aside to this, three operations owned by Iowa Pacific in the UK are now for sale - The Dartmoor Railway, Weardale Railway and RMS Locotech.

Details below if anyone feels flushed with cash......

Are the Comet I coaches in Kokomo leased from the URHS, with a vinyl wrap used to apply IC brown and orange?

This website lists the numbers of these cars along with some recent photos: https://www.sites.google.com/site/railwaypreservationphotoindex/by-railroad/erie-lackawanna?tmpl=%2Fsystem%2Fapp%2Ftemplates%2Fprint%2F&showPrintDialog=1

Did the ITM Santa trains between Kokomo and Logansport operate in December 2019?

BL2's on the move. Have they been purchased by the Battenkill, or just going into storage there?

Just being stored there. The E8s were supposed to go there too but failed and air test and are stuck in Saratoga.

At least the risk of scrapping has been reduced by the fact that prices for scrap steel are in the tank. We had to scrap a PCC car body that was basically a shell. First two companies we called refused the job-said we'd have to pay them to take it. Third guy would've at least broken even but local thieves stole the copper out of the car. He ended up taking a loss on the job.

Of course, IPH's liquidation does nothing for the price of used passenger cars, other than depressing prices.

As for museum leased equipment, those folks may really be up a creek. It'll be up to them to work with the receiver and the organization that is storing the equipment. At the least, they had better assume that they will be liable for the cost of storage and repatriating the equipment to the home road. If they do not immediately have funds available, they would need to negotiate with the storage company.
