I was listening to this sound recording by John M. Prophet from the Columbusrailroad.com and it had himself narrating. This is the link: http://www.columbusrailroads.com/PRR%20I1.htm The video is an two I1s on Shamokin grade in 1957. It is from the Ryan Hoover collection, and I don't know what album this recording came from. It would be grateful if anyone knew what the album is or other information on Prophet's collection of steam train sounds from the 1940s and 50s. |

Many of John Prophet's audio recordings were released on LP and CD by Semaphore Records. JH |

I do have three semaphore cds that I bought from their website, before it disappeared and I don't know what other records by the label are still out there. |
