Anybody here familiar with the FRISCO-MAN monthly periodical? I stumbled across it today. Great newsletter pit out by the Frisco railroad Co years ago for the employees. Check it out.

I have some of the early issues and they are really interesting. They used to have a section called "Along the Line" with photos sent in by employees of depots, trains and whatever.
They went through a period in the 20s-30s where it was mostly "people" stories and employee clubs, etc. Also there were columns about fuel usage citing engines, trains and crewmen and the "gas mileage" they got. I did find an article about 1522's first run from Springfield to Newburg and how much coal it used. That was very interesting.
During the 40s, it was called "Frisco First" and was a larger size and very interesting. I wish I had the whole series from the 40s.
It eventually became a sort of tabloid called "All Aboard" in the late 40s after Clark Hungerford took over as President. Some things interesting, but for a steam guy like me not enough.

This is very interesting information, thank you.

Are any of the 1940s and later "Frisco First" and "All Aboard" issues available online? My wife's grandfather was an engineer on the Frisco in the 1940s-1970s and I am very curious if he might be mentioned in them.
