A few hours ago, UP posted across their various social media platforms that they intend to donate SD70ACe 4141 (the George Bush 41 unit) to the George & Barbara Bush Foundation. For those not keen on Facebook, etc., here's what's been said Quote: The UP No. 4141 George Bush Locomotive traveled today to a trackside celebration near the George H.W. Bush Presidential Center at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. I had heard this was the intention from the day that the unit was unveiled, guess this is just a formalization. |
