PaintRef has absolutely nothing on the late-thirties GMC colors so here they are from Rinshed-Mason along with Chevrolet's. GMC's Canary Yellow and Inca Gold might be worth taking a closer look at so I have a few more Acme sheets showing up here soon. LOL

Wow, those chips got here fast. LOL GMC Inca Gold is that old fleet bittersweet-type orange, 93-218. The General Motors paint code is WE5899...

The big news here, however, is GMC Canary Yellow. It is an exact match for Kraft Yellow so we can add that one to the ever-growing list of names for 93-242. Now, it falls within the realm of the GM fleet colors and we have the Acme mixing formula for it as well...

Attempted a few more random shots of the fan deck the other day. When I get a chance, I'll drag out one of my all-black Dodge truck hoods from my parts stash in the garage to use as a backdrop but, until then, I'll try this here hemlock tree. LOL

In order to keep the Western Pacific guys interested, here's Seacrest Green and Diamond Yellow together along with the Reading's Seacrest Green and Cream Medium combo...

This is 2015 Brewster Green with Cream Medium. The Brewster is a bit easier to see with the larger fan deck color cards as opposed to the smaller chips in the booklets and such...

I don't really have any more doubts about 6202 Green and 5248 Yellow being the 1973 Green Machine color combo so I'm officially calling that one. Anyway, I had it pegged early on even without a 6202 chip handy thanks to the lemon juice bottle. LOL 6202 also portrays the most proper lightness compared to 046 out of all the viable choices. I'm pretty good on the other greens as well but I'll hold off on those for just a bit yet but not too long...

Back to Seacrest Green again, we're redoing one of our bathrooms so looky what I found buried within the walls of my own house. LOL It looks like it was scavenged from where ever it was painted previously before being cut down and used as a wall stud during a prior renovation...

Definitely matches up quite well with the color the Alco museum used on the remnants of #301 here in this indoor shot. Beforehand, I had thought this appeared to be a desaturated Singer/Seven-Up green but it's not...

When doing the multiple chip match deal, you need to know at least one of the colors so you can use it as the reference. When I was just plopping chips down over #301 earlier on, I used the Singer/Seven-Up green as the reference color and came up with 93-242 as the yellow. Now, with what should be the correct Seacrest Green as the reference, Cream Medium rises to the top...

Here's a Reading/Pennsy side-by-side pic from 1957 I found. You can tell the Reading's green on #563 is slightly lighter even though the colors aren't that well saturated. I did try a dual chip match with 5925 for the lettering on the two diesels just to see what might happen...

I'm at the point now where I'm really liking 93-530 Chevrolet Cream Medium as the Reading's pre-sixties lettering and striping color. Still, I'm not quite ready to officially call that one yet. LOL Its DuPont Duco codes are 34 and 246-6596. This is what it looks like on the interior of an unmolested 1953 Chevy panel truck...

Now here's a pic I wanted to get ever since the fan deck arrived. From left to right, the potential BNSF and Conrail OCS Charleston Green, 2015 Brewster Green, what appears to be the original brownish-colored Pullman Green as described by UtahRails, and 7014 UPS Brown. This shot was taken in the morning around 11:00 EDST which is supposedly about the best time for color reproduction in photos, a couple hours before high noon. Since I had the deck sitting with the cards pulled out all night long, I probably should've blown the dust off of them first... LOL

Add some red, take away a little blue, kill the saturation, and darken it down a bit for that old retro vintage photo look and this is what happens...

Here's another one, 93-1317 positioned in between 93-046 and 93-6202 like where it's found on most chip charts. I'll do one of these with 93-5800 included if and when I can figure out which of the fan deck cards that color may be... LOL

What the heck, I'll officially pronounce 93-2908 Narva Green basically because that's the only old fleet color it can really be even though I was only a figment of my dad's imagination when the Reading used it. LOL Too bad it's not in the fan deck, though.

I attempted a multiple chip match on this pic of #250 with limited success since it's very pixelated. Cream Medium lines up better with the darker non-flashing areas of the striping.

I wouldn't know for sure, but if Narva Green did fall off the fleet charts at some point, we do have access to the old codes for the basic mixing concoction like Acme's here...

A-ha!!! I finally found a decent morning photo where you can actually get a good sense of the true dark olive color of the Brewster Green. Here it is on RS-3 #486 next to the shop shortly before it got sent off to the CNJ...
