Children are also attracted to a bounce house. Much cheaper than a trolley!

Trolley tickets were $3 for kids, $5 for adults as I recall. It was quite popular with the kids, and not much more than a short jump in a bounce house.

Kids like things that move. They like being able to do stuff at museums. Plenty of kids actually like museums, as long as there is something interesting to do. The more static and un-engaging you make your museum, the fewer young folks will be interested, and the sooner your operation will die.

I don’t think running a money-losing trolley is how to keep your operation from dying either.

It lost money, was not historic to the area, and was not operated in a historic way. I fail to see the loss.

In a remarkable turn of events, citizen influence and political interest have led to a plan to reopen the Issaquah Valley Trolley.
This blog post talks of one volunteer's efforts to that end.

Considering some brain dead jurors in Texas just awarded another brain dead idiot woman who passed out drunk on the train tracks half a billion dollars It's no wonder insurance is going up.

Yeah, that’ll be appealed. Guaranteed.

Back to the subject. If the trolley is an economic draw, even a minor one, I can see them subsidizing this.
