Bock Lumber Company number 1, an 0-4-4RT Forney, originally built by Baldwin back in 1908, arrived at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson, Indiana last week. The locomotive was rebuilt by the Kloke Locomotive Works and received a new boiler amongst other replicated items. HVRM eventually will use the locomotive on trains at the museum after it has properly trained crews in its operation.

You're going to have more fun with that little thing just doodling around the yard...... best wishes.

Congatulations.

Nice little 6Flags/Disney/Hollywood looking locomotive.
I am sure their visitors will have lots of fun behind her.

Some thoughts about the term "Museum". When the HVRR understand the same like I do
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museum
then IMHO recommend.
the little things (only a couple dollars for color buckets plus man hours):
less blue, less red, more black, more olive green, correct lettering in silver.
See factory pic and specs below.

and if there is real historical effort (that need dollars and knowledge):
remove the fake "cow catcher", replace the 19th century stack with a
Radley & Hunter look alike, move the bell to the back sand dome and
add railing to the cistern.

Bock Lumber # 1 was fired up last week and made some test runs over HVRM trackage.

She’s a beaut! Perfect small locomotive for your operation!

They were working on Bock Lumber number 1 at HVRM this past Saturday. The crew was having some problems with the oil flow from the tank to the firebox. I had a previous commitment on Saturday and had to leave the museum about 2:30 p.m. Found out later that the problem was discovered and that engine pressure then quickly came up to 150. By 3:00 p.m., the 0-4-4RT was out on the museum main line for some runs before it was shut down for the winter. Dang! I'll now have to wait until next spring!

Anyway, a couple of shots from this past Saturday are included.

I'll second the motion, Les. Best of luck with your steam program.

Take Care & WORK SAFE,
