Can we circle this back to Ross' original point?

The question is simple:

Is there a possibility that the sitting President can be prevailed upon to arrange what is essentially extraordinary assistance based upon his expressed affection for the city of his youth.

Here's what we know:

We have testimony here that the facility in question was concealed for his visit.

He was VP for eight years and certainly could have prevailed upon the former President.

There's a white hot gubernatorial race in Virginia and the candidate of his party is bringing in the former President to get out the vote. His name was chanted with profanity in Indigo Boston.

Conclusion: even if he had the inclination to expend political capital on its behalf, he would not.
