RRMPA's turntable (not Strasburg RR) has a 100 foot bridge. It was initially installed around 1918 by USRA at West Cressona PA on the P&R. In the 1930's Reading Company closed West Cressona enginehouse and the turntable bridge was stored at Reading. In 1948 it was installed at Bridgeport PA to turn T-1 4-8-4's when Abrams-Port Reading service was added to their repertoire.

Reading closed Bridgeport enginehouse in favor of a new enginehouse at Abrams and a new wye at Norristown. It was sold to the Comm. of PA for the Railroad Museum.
