During 1988, the Tri-State Chapter of the NRHS held one of the most ill-fated conventions of all time. During the course of 10 days, many different events were planned out, but some were canceled and others were planned on the same day as other events, along with delays and communication breakdowns. This led to some rather negative views of this particular convention. However, what I want to know is the names/numbers and owners of the passenger cars that were pulled by the mainline locomotives (NYS&W B40-8 & F45, Morristown & Erie Alcos & NKP 765) during the convention. I know that the passenger cars were from various owners, so if anyone knows the information for all the passenger cars used for the excursions, I'd greatly appreciate it. |

I know that the top level first class car (they had several premium classes), was the "Blue Ridge" owned by Classic Rail Cars. It was a former NS business car/track analysis car. |

Indeed, the car that brought up the "markers" of the consist, or was the first car behind the diesels. |
