Thanks to the tireless efforts of Northern Illinois & Wisconsin Railway dba NIWX Corporation, WMSR has become the proud custodian of former Norfolk Southern B32-8 locomotive number 539, which is operational and joins its counterparts 558 and 561. WMSR plans to immediately initiate the painting and maintenance process for 539 in preparation for the busy fall foliage season.
