Since Bruce Mowbray's excellent writeup on this back in July, is anyone aware of work starting back up on 3713?
Merely curious, not starting a 'bring the popcorn' thread, not a "THEY SHOULD" post-merely curious. The Project 3713 and Steamtown pages are, shall we say, stale...

I am also curious to know if any work is actually taking place, and what the actual status of the project is (how much more remains to be done, when will work resume if it has not yet?). The Iron Horse Society page asks for donations but as you mention contains no other actual information on the project.

As I understand it, Project 3713 was the site being run by the L&WV NRHS when they were handling the restoration. Since the agreement between SNHS and L&WV wasn't renewed and the NRHS chapter is no longer working on the 3713, I wouldn't expect anymore updates on the Project 3713 page.

Unsure of work being done (Steamtown is working on other projects) but I do know the iron horse society has taken over fundraising for the project.

Yes, they have. I think people would more readily donate, though, if there were some transparency as to a plan forward, and what remains to be done.
