3 of the cars from Earle currently reside in Boonton, NJ at the United Railroad Historical Society restoration yard. One is restored into Army hospital colors. Was looking into the Strategic Air Command paint scheme/logo to possibly paint this one.

There are two of these cars sitting at the 'Aviation Challenge' area at Space Camp in Huntsville. Must have been a pain getting them where they are. They're not visible to the public, as the whole compound is gated and only open to people going through the program there. As I understand, they're used for office space. They still have their original SAC markings, but the paint is naturally showing its age big time.

Regarding the car in Ogden:

From the Ogden Union Station website (http://theunionstation.org/):

Utah State Railroad Museum wrote:
U.S.A.F. TARGET/BAGGAGE CAR

Originally a Baltimore and Ohio baggage car. It was converted for use as a scoring crew support car for the Strategic Air Command (SAC). The scoring crew evaluated the performance of the B-52 bombing crew as they “bombed” the target car. It was once filled with electronic monitoring equipment.

Info located on the rolling stock page: http://theunionstation.org/museums-2/utah-state-railroad-museum/rolling-stock/

The Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Calera, AL has 4 SAC guard cars that were converted from US Army kitchen cars.

G-51 has been converted for use as the shops office.

G-53 is sitting on a panel track away from the rest of the equipment and is pretty much still in original form I believe.

G-54 was converted into head end power and is often used on museum train rides.

G-64 is being used as excess storage space for the museum library.

More information can be found on the Heart of Dixie's website: http://www.hodrrm.org/body.cfm?id=69

Gents, Fairchild AFB, Washington has some cars up there on display. I have a link below but not sure if the pictures still work.

I've been surveying the railroad at Earle this week, and there are still 3 passenger cars in the receiving yards. 2 are still in shrink wrap and one uncovered. Bad news is I've heard is that the base CO wants them gone.
