I thought RYPN readers might like to know that Orange Empire Railway Museum has reprinted William Voss' 1892 classic "Railway Car Construction". The book has 177 pages plus numerous fold-out diagrams, all of which have been reprinted in a new softbound edition. It's filled with illustrations and is an outstanding reference on wood car construction. <p>This is the best book I've seen on the subject, does anyone else have any other "classics" on wood car construction tucked away on the bookshelf that they would care to recommend?<p>BTY, the book is priced at $24.95 and can be ordered directly from the Museum at (909) 943-3020. Quantity pricing is also available if anyone wants to carry it in their bookstore.<br>

Been out of print again for a long time. Have two copies, an original with the imprint of the CME of New Zealand Rwy and one of the soft cover repros from OERM. E-book here: https://play.google.com/store/books/det ... AAJ&rdot=1 Steve
