MTV, that's cable's Music Television channel, is taping its April 28 "total request live" at NCTM this friday; the museum is one of three locations nationwide, including san francisco and st. louis, where MTV is holding is nationwide VJ search.expected viewership is 1 million;<br> we'll be running 2-8-0 604 friday on a regular schedule plus some "runbys" late in the afternoon for the cameras; amazingly, the MTV folks said the museum's 3-truck shay 1925 "didn't look like a steam locomotive" and they opted for the rod engine;their loss! <br> <br>
