Recently an organisation under the name Bain station had posted an add of railswap asking for passenger cars and a historic steam engine. This was preceeded by a gradiose IPO(Intial Public Offering statement in which in his business plan he was to establish a railway muesium in the Kenosha-Racine Wis. area, purchase and restore the former Mark Twain Zephyr, purchase the UP(ex. CNW) main line between Racine and Kenoosha and establish regular passenger service, and restore the former CNW station in Racine. Is this a scam and who are the indivisuals behind this???

The Mark Twain Zephyr is owned by a Mr. Ronald Lorenzini...it is supposed to be undergoing restoration at Relco Locomotive in Minooka Illinois. In exchange for work done on the train, Relco is supposed to have attained a ownership percentage in 9903 and train.
According to publications from the Burlington Route Historical Society, plans for the Zephyr are unclear....I hope it reaches the high iron (along with 9911 and the Nebraska Zephyr) to show folks a little bit about the Zephyr tradition.
Regards,
Burlington John
