Can anyone tell us the length and type of turntable last used at the SP Bayshore roundhouse near San Francisco? Also, when was this facility last used by SP and who owns it now?
Bob:

The old Bayshore yard area is owned by a Taiwanese company called Tuntex--in the U.S. they are known as Universal Paragon. The wife of the architect working on the Santa Clara County museum project was the project manager for Tuntex on the Bayshore site until just recently. I don't have answers for you on your two other questions. The table was at least 120 feet--cabforwards were turned on it. I will check with the above mentioned contact to see if she can provide any of the answers.
