Post subject:  Help needed on Rio open car roller bearings

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is beginning a rehab of the trucks under Rio de Janiero 15 bench open car 1758. We need to replace the roller bearings in the journals. The present bearings are marked "R&M" and "Made in England" but the present company by that name in Dundee Scotland is unresponsive to our inquiries. The bearings are an odd type of cylindrical rollers with no separate thrust bearing. We would appreciate any info on possible sources for replacements. SKF has been checked and has nothing even remotely close. If you can suggest any source or helpful info, please email me c/o PTM at PTM@pa-trolley.org.
