The thread about shops on the forum reminded me that we have this 5 ton gantry crane for sale, and it would be ideal as an outdoor crane for a rail museum or tourist railroad that cannot afford a shop building but wants an easier way to move materials around. It has 19' under the girder and 35' between legs. Runs on a set of inverted angle irons for track. The bridge is powered and it comes with both a 5 ton chain hoist and a 3 ton electric hoist. The electric hoist has a pendant control to operate the hoist and bridge travel functions.
This gantry crane new is over $25,000 and the P&H Zip II hoist is worth a couple grand. We are asking $8,000 for everything, and I'll even take it down and load onto your truck (or arrange shipment) at no extra charge.
