From March Railway Age MotivePower, Inc. (A Wabtec Company) has positions available for qualified field service representatives to work in the Greater Toronto Ontario Canada and New York City metro areas. Person will work independently to provide daily technical assistance to MotivePower customers regarding the operation and/or maintenance of commuter or switching locomotives. In addition, will conduct failure analysis of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems and sub-systems utilizing portable test equipment and onboard locomotive diagnostic systems. Strong troubleshooting and testing skills and a good working knowledge of locomotives are a must, Minimum 2 years experiencce working on locomotives to include electrical, mechanical, and air brake systems.
