September 20 and 21, 2008
Revel in the rich history of railroading for a weekend of special excursions on the White Mountain Central Railroad as it celebrates its 50th year of operation.
Rail fans can ride steam locomotives, a 65 year old General Electric diesel locomotive, a 110 year old Boston & Maine RR caboose, and a restored 1929 Reo rail bus.
Five steam locomotives including a Shay, Climax, and Heisler geared engines will be in service or on display. A genuine restored steam roller will be in operation.
See rare and unique equipment on display including a steam shovel and a Lombard steam log hauler.
Doors open at 10 AM and regular admission price which includes all Clark's Trading Post attractions. Clark's Trading Post and White Mountain Central RR are located on Rte 3 Lincoln, NH just off I-93.
