Post subject:  Wanted: GE 45-ton maintenance manual

The Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum now rosters two General Electric 45-ton side rod switch engines as part of our motive power collection. We recently received our second 45-tonner in December which also joins our two 80-tonners and one 110-tonner. We have maintenance manuals for the 80s and the 110, but not the 45-tonners. The 45-tonners had a specific maintenance manual just for them.

We would like to find and acquire a GE 45-tonner maintenance manual. A parts renewal manual or any other 45-tonner specific manuals or diagrams if they exist would also be useful. As a 501(c)(3), we would prefer to receive the manual via donation, however, we are willing to purchase an original manual or a good copy. We are also willing to reimburse for postage.

Please let us know if you can help us.

Thanks and for those interested, you can see the recent delivery of our new to us 45-tonner and 110-tonner on the R&GVRRM's YouTube site.

Regards,
Chris Hauf
