| Post subject: | Alco MRS1 and Alco S4 dismantle |
2 MRS1's and 2 S4's are due to be scrapped in March 2010. They have 244 and 539 engines. The engines will be scrapped unless I can find a buyer for them. Parts for these engines are hard enough to come by without scrapping what is available. As of now only the traction motors have been sold to be reconditioned. I can only cost effectively sell large pieces of these locomotives. Please contact me if there is any interest in buying parts of these locomotives. Thank you Angie 205-629-5078 |
