Post subject:  Large wheel press available

The Connecticut Trolley Museum has a surplus wheel press available. Due to the Trolleyville sale we have an additional wheel press. We are offering the larger one as it is larger than we will need. It has been undercover in storage for several years after be donated from a hydraulic repair shop where it was used as a press. It is supposed to be originally a Connecticut Company wheel press. I believe it is in the range of 400+ tons pressing capacity.

We are in the process of cleaning up the museum and need to get this press gone very quickly. If there is no interest indicated by the end of June we will be considering scraping of this press.

If interested contact the museums office at (860)627-6540 or email at office@ceraweb.org with all inquires directed at Galen Semprebon.
