After receiving multiple requests, we are indeed moving forward with the reproduction of styles 801 (white overall with pleated top) and 803 (white pleated top with black band and brim) and hope to offer them by the fall.

The Otis Pin Stripe (Style #305) caps are beginning to see service among train crews at places like the Railroad Museum of New England/ Naugatuck RR, the Valley Railroad, and the North Carolina Transportation Museum. As a matter of fact, the Gramling family's Flagg Coal Co. 75 is christening caps on the NAUG while I am typing this post!

We surely appreciate all the feedback and support that has been shown toward our efforts to bring these caps back. Thank you!

Ha ha! I was brakeman on the Tuesday job and freight conductor for the delivery of FC 75. I'll be firing the 75 next Friday and possibly handling the right side of the cab on Saturday. My other half is OOS after yesterday's surgery and requires my attention this weekend. I'll see ya there with one of our new Thompsons on my head!

The past two weekends saw great exposure for the new Thompson caps. We even managed to get Barney Gramling into one! Thanks go out to the Gramlings for another wonderful two weekends of steam on the NAUG!

Alright, folks! We have been loaned a sample of the Thompson Style #803 cap (Thanks Bill!). The #803 is the WHITE cap with black band and brim. We will run both the #803 "Shoreliner" and #801 (white overall). The #801 was popular with railroads such as KCS, SP, WP, and the Southern to name a few.

Please send an email to thompsoncapslimited@gmail.com if you are interested in either style so we can guage the demand.

Don't forget! The #305 Otis Pin Stripe caps are still available as well!

Good Evening, all!

This is a "last call" for the Otis Pin Stripe #305. There are a few sizes left (7 1/8, 7 1/2, 7 3/4, 8) and once they're gone, they're gone. Don't forget they ran a bit large so 7 1/8 is closer to 7 1/4, etc. There are currently no plans to produce another run. Thinking about possibly doing the pant straps next. Please let me know if you would be interested in this product. Have a great evening!
