Looking for a supplier for the two water supply hoses. These hose have cuffs on the ends, are corragated with wire wound within the hose. |

Suction hose is not uncommon in the mining industry - might try industrial suppliers for mining. dave |

Jeff, when I say cuffs think of cuffs on a long sleeve shirt. The hoses are corregated and so have a cuff on each end so the clamp has a flat area to press on. |

Try, Fireequip. We use their hose products for the "Tank to Pump lines" on the fire trucks. The standard Lenght is 10' but they do custom lengths for us without any couplings. Their "Tank-Flex" line has the "Cuffs" you speak about. http://www.firequip.com/tank-flex/ Tim W. |

Steve, I saw that hose. It is available in 10' sections or shorter by special order. Nice suction hose, looks prototypical if that is what one is after, has soft cuffs on the ends for easy sealing by external clamp. Somewhat costly though, could be 500 plus per hose. I have found other suction hoses, specifically at oil field supply houses. Corragated 4" hose with an 18" bend radius is available for under $20 a foot. The corragation is not as pronounced as the original so a cuff is not required and the stock clamp will work. Thanks to all who responded and with your help the problem was solved. bob k |

In case anyone comes back looking for tender hose, suction water hose. We found in the marine industry a hose that is used in diesel exhaust. It is corrugated, smooth bore, double stainless wired wrap and good for suction. The bonus is that this hose at 4" has the tightest bend radius we could find, 6". The hose is available up to 6". The manufacturer is Vetus marine. |
