We find ourselves in need of a couple of caboose stoves for a pair of restoration projects. We are looking for a Vapor caboose stove like the N&W used in the C-31 cabs -- propane fuel, does not need to be in working order, just aesthetically complete. We also need a oil fired vapor caboose stove for an L&N caboose -- this one does need all of the guts in some kind of working order.

Hi, I aquired a Model 56 Diesel burning Heater Made by Vapor Corporation. Instruction`s Name plate on front Has CABAN w/ lighting instructions. Was told it Came off a Caboose from the Clinchfield R/R. I got it in Erwin Tennessee. I have no idea about this heater. Very little on the web I can find. Condition looks good w/ all parts intact.
