I am trying to find some information on the once state-of-the-art Automatic Car Identification system, developed by Sylvania/GTE through Servo/Kartrak. They used large optical trackside readers, to record the 13 line ACI code tags, still seen trackside today.

Generic information is available through numerous outlets. What I am trying to obtain is any literature printed about this system, including operation and maintenance manuals, as well as any catalogs that may have been offered on this system. Some information is available through Worldcat Online Library, and I am trying to arrange use of these materials.

Anyone know any old maintainers, or anyone whom may have this material? Would love to talk to you!
